Our school participates in a SCRIP program that gives parents the opportunity to reduce the cost of tuition. Parents who do not wish to participate may pay the difference in a slightly higher tuition rate. Current offering and other program details may be obtained in the school office. To maintain our tax exempt status, scrip can only be sold by parent volunteers during the pre-determined schedule.
In 1998, a $crip program was implemented to maintain affordable tuition and meet the necessary expenditures for our school. Unless a family selects the buy-out tuition option, each family has either a $450.00 or $300.00 scrip PROFIT obligation.
Here’s how it works:
Accumulate $crip profit 2 ways:
1. Scrip is fundraising while you shop! Buy grocery, restaurant, gas, or a variety of store scrip from St. Peter & St. Paul Catholic School. Use this scrip instead of cash, check, or credit card. Check out the web site for additional vendors at www.glscrip.com. Last day to earn profit through in-stock scrip is March 31. Scrip is sold Monday-Friday 8:00 am -8:45 am
2. Register with e-scrip -- see attached information sheet. Purchases made through this program January 2016 – December 2016 will be applied to your scrip profit for the 2016-17 school year.
40% of $crip profit beyond stated $crip fundraising obligation is only applied to your April or May tuition. No refunds or transfer of profit is available.
